Snowboarding in the Cascades mountain range is a spectacular experience. With an annual average snowfall of around 400 inches there is no shortage of powder and the undulating terrain formed by large lumps of lava creates a natural snowpark. These photos include a session with Grant "Twiggy" Baker and Greg Long, both big wave masters and winners of the prestigious Mavericks "men who ride mountains" surf contest. They brought their waveriding skills to the frozen wavepark that is Mt Bachelor and proceeded to rip it to pieces
