Deep down in Mexico, far from the madding crowd, lies a little village removed from the world and accessible only to those who really want to get there. Protected by rumors of banditos, federales and sharks, it is nevertheless a surfers paradise. For a few bucks a night you can rent a palapa right on the beach and roll into the water every morning. Solid south swells light up the point during the summer months and the rides are long and fast. The only limit on the amount of surfing you can do is how many times your arms can make the long paddle up the point.
