The Oregon stretch of the Pacific Coast is a magical place. Thick green forests grow right down to the waterline, meeting cobblestone points under towering headlands, and swooping bays with black sand beaches. Mighty swells and high winds shape the landscape, leaving in their wake  offshore stacks and tall sanddunes. The morning sun rises behind the mountains, sparkling through the tall trees, and by evening sea haze filters the sun setting over the ocean, bathing the coast in a bright orange glow.
