From crashing waves in the ocean to tiny ripples and refractions in a river or lake, moving water is a source of endless fascination for me.  Add light, and the magic goes on forever. Growing up on the beach and surfing from age 9, I have been immersed in water and marvelled at its beauty for a long time. Swimming in the water with my camera allowed me to explore that fascination further. Now, living in the mountains of Oregon it is snow and ice that continues the obsession - from quietly falling snowflakes in a dark storm to fairy dust swirling in the wind on a cold, sunny day, to the drip drip of constant snowmelt, glaciers moving unnoticed and water rising to the heavens to start all over again.
